Twitch Bots
A bot that runs your chat while you stream. Commands, moderation, alerts and points in one place, set up in the dashboard and online around the clock.
What is a Twitch bot?
A Twitch bot is a helper of your own in your chat that never takes a break. It answers the usual questions, keeps spam and links out, shows follows, subs and raids as alerts on stream, reads messages aloud and rewards loyal viewers with points. What you and your mods would otherwise handle on the side runs on its own, following clear rules. Instead of several third-party tools for chat, alerts and sounds, you get one bot that does exactly what your stream needs.
What our Twitch bots can do
-
Chat & Commands
Create as many commands as your chat needs in the dashboard. One fixed reply or a random one from several each time, with a cooldown for everyone and per person.
Every command can be limited to subs, VIPs, mods or just you as the streamer, or to single people. Extra names for the same command share its settings and cooldown.
Replies insert live values: names, stream uptime, game, title, viewer count, follow age, points, counters or random numbers. With {iflive} or {ifsub}, the bot replies differently depending on the situation.
A command can play a sound and show an image on stream, with its own volume and display time. If several people trigger it in quick succession, the card counts along.
If you like, a command costs points from your channel’s point system.
Mods can also add, edit or delete commands in chat with !addcom, !editcom, !delcom and !aliascom.
You can switch off any built-in command or give it its own permission and cooldown. !commands only lists what is switched on.
Recurring messages, for example for socials or rules, at a set interval and only once enough has been written in chat. They only run while you are live.
If you like, the bot posts reminders as highlighted Twitch announcements. Mods also control them in chat with !reminder.
Mods save funny lines from the stream with !addquote, and anyone can bring them back with !quote or a search.
For example a death counter with !deaths that mods count up and down, or counters of your own that can also appear in command replies.
!uptime, !followage, !accountage, !title, !game and !socials answer the usual chat questions on their own.
With !lurk, viewers say they are going quiet, and with !back they return. The bot keeps track of the time, and !toplurk shows the most loyal lurkers.
With !clip, anyone can create a clip, and the bot posts the finished link in chat.
-
Moderation & Protection
The bot deletes messages written mostly in capitals or times the sender out. You set the limit and minimum length, and emotes don’t count.
The bot removes links unless a mod grants someone 60 seconds with !permit. You set allowed and blocked domains yourself.
Symbol spam, emote spam, repeated characters, duplicate messages and walls of text can each be switched on with their own limit, with delete or timeout.
Blocked words as plain text or as a pattern, with delete, timeout or ban. Mods also manage the list in chat with !blacklist.
Repeat offenders get increasingly longer timeouts up to a ban. After 24 hours, the strikes expire.
During raids and spam waves, the bot can stop accounts below a minimum age from posting links, delete their messages or time them out.
The bot recognizes known spam and view bots from a list that is updated regularly, when they join the chat and on their first message. It logs them, or times them out or bans them if you like. Mods, VIPs and well-known service bots are left alone.
Messages held back by Twitch’s AutoMod show up in the dashboard. Approve or deny them there with one click.
!followersonly, !subsonly, !emoteonly and !slow switch chat modes, !chatopen lifts them all and !chatmode shows what is active.
The filters don’t apply to mods, VIPs or yourself, and messages from channel point redemptions stay.
The bot posts public warnings at most every 20 seconds per person, so the chat doesn’t get cluttered.
-
Alerts & Overlays
Follows, subs, resubs, gifted subs, bits, raids and stream start appear as alerts on stream. A single browser source in OBS covers all of them.
Per type its own text with placeholders, its own chat message, image, GIF or video and sound. You set the display time and box color, transparent if you like.
Trigger any alert from the dashboard to try it out, without waiting for a real follow or sub.
When a raid comes in, the bot introduces the channel in chat, with Twitch’s official shoutout too if you like. Mods can give one any time with !so.
A bar counts subs, followers or bits toward your goal automatically, in a full or compact style. Mods adjust it with !goalset, and !goal shows the progress.
A countdown for your subathon that you start, pause and extend live in the dashboard or with !subathon. Subs and bits can add time to it, up to a cap if you like.
A mod starts a Twitch poll with !poll in chat, the bot announces it, and an overlay shows the results live as bars.
An overlay shows the viewers with the most points and updates on its own.
Your Twitch chat as an overlay, or as a multichat with Kick, YouTube and TikTok together, with seven ready-made styles, badges and platform logos.
Each overlay has its own address with its own key. If one gets into the wrong hands, renew it with one click while all the others keep running.
Change something in the dashboard and the overlays pick it up without reloading in OBS. If the connection drops, they reconnect on their own.
-
Text to Speech & Sounds
The bot reads out the messages that come with bits, resubs and gifted subs on stream, from a certain number of bits if you like.
Viewers redeem a channel point reward, type their text, and the bot reads it aloud and shows it as a card on stream.
German and English voices, male and female. If one service fails, a second one takes over automatically. You set the length and volume.
Each sound becomes its own channel point reward with name, image, cost and volume. The bot creates the rewards on Twitch itself.
Set the start and end of each sound in the dashboard on its real waveform. The original file stays unchanged.
Each sound shows a card with its image, in your color and with its own display time.
Upload MP3, WAV, OGG and other formats up to 25 MB, and the dashboard turns myinstants links into the sound file on its own.
Play voices and sounds in the dashboard to try them out before your viewers hear them.
-
Points & Games
Everyone in the stream earns points every minute, subs twice as many, and only while you are live. You choose the name of the currency.
A follow, a sub, bits or a raid earns one-time bonus points.
!points shows the balance, viewers gift points with !give, !top shows the leaderboard and !watchtime how long someone has been watching.
All viewers with points, watch time and messages, sortable and searchable. Add, subtract or set points there or by command.
!gamble, !slots, !duel against other viewers and !heist as a group game, all with your channel’s points.
A mod starts !scramble, the bot jumbles a word, and whoever guesses it first wins points. After 30 seconds there is a hint.
Anyone who chats every day builds a streak and gets daily bonus points, with tiers after 3, 7, 14, 30, 100 and 365 days. The bot celebrates big milestones in chat.
-
Giveaways & Community
Viewers enter with a keyword in chat. You set the prize, duration and up to 50 winners, and nobody wins twice.
Limited to subs or VIPs if you like, with a point cost, minimum watch time, minimum number of messages or minimum points. Subs and VIPs get double the chance.
The giveaway closes and draws on its own when time is up. If a winner doesn’t respond, a mod redraws with !giveaway reroll.
Mods start Twitch polls with up to five answers and predictions right in chat with !poll and !prediction.
The bot counts the most used words and emotes of the stream, and !topword and !topemote show them. If you like, it comments on running gags when lots of people write the same thing.
The bot laughs along, reacts with an emote now and then and replies when someone mentions it. You set how often.
The bot posts new clips to your Discord channel on its own, without dumping old clips when you switch it on.
-
Song Requests
With !sr and a YouTube or Spotify link or just the song name, viewers request music.
!songs shows the queue, !song the current track, and !wrongsong takes back a request. Mods skip with !skipsong.
The bot creates its own channel point reward for song requests. If a request fails, the viewer gets the points back.
You set the maximum length per song, requests per person and blocked tracks, artists or keywords.
Requests can go straight into your Spotify queue and into a playlist of their own. This needs Spotify Premium.
Search and add songs, skip, remove and see what played last.
An overlay shows which Spotify song is playing right now.
-
Live Chat & Platforms
Your chat in the dashboard with Twitch, 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes, badges and events like follows, subs and raids. You can write and moderate from there too.
One click on a name shows the person’s history, with delete, timeout and ban.
Switch chat modes, send announcements in Twitch colors, give shoutouts and clear the chat, all in the dashboard.
Kick can be connected: read, write and moderate in the same chat, plus alerts of their own for follows, subs and Kicks on Kick.
YouTube and TikTok chats can be read along and show up in the multichat overlay.
Change the title and category in the dashboard, with a category search.
See the latest follows, subs, raids and bits in the overview.
-
Dashboard & Mods
Modules, commands, overlays and live controls in one place, in the Cevio Workspace. You just link your Twitch account once.
There is no save button. Changes apply right away, without restarting the bot.
Switch each module on and off on its own, sorted into overlays, chat & community, music, protection and integrations.
Invite your mods by email or through Discord and give them a fitting level, for example chat only or bot and overlays too.
Mods only see the bot panel. The mod list, module settings and overlay keys stay with you.
Upload images, videos and sounds for alerts and commands right in the dashboard, up to 25 MB per file.
The bot replies in chat in German or English, and the dashboard comes in both languages.
-
Operations & Security
Your bot runs on our servers, day and night. If it ever crashes, our monitoring starts it again by itself.
Every bot checks in with our status page every minute, but only if it is really connected to the chat. Availability over the last 90 days is visible to everyone there.
We schedule server updates and restarts for Sunday at 4:00 am, with a notice beforehand.
We back up your bot’s data such as points, commands and settings every night and keep the backups for 14 days.
The bot receives follows, subs, raids and channel points straight from Twitch over a secure connection, without an open interface to the outside.
The bot never passes credentials like webhooks or tokens to overlays, and wrong keys are turned away.
Every bot has its own database, separate from all other channels.
